Friends... I'M AN AUTHOR!

Hey there, lovely readers!

You may have already seen on socials, but if not…I am so excited to share with you all that my debut book ‘ UPCYCLE’ is being published on 7th November!!! You may be wondering, why did I decide to write a book on this topic? Well, let me tell you a little story.

As many of you know, I have been running upcycling workshops for some time now now. And one thing I have noticed is that when people hear the word "upcycling," they often feel overwhelmed. They think it's a complicated process that only experts can do. But let me tell you, upcycling is actually very simple and fun! I also have a personal connection as to why clothing ending up in landfill feels so haunting, but for that…well you’ll have to read the book (hehe)!

So I decided to write a book that will prove just that. In my book, you will find 18 projects that will show you just how easy it is to upcycle. From creating new pieces from fabrics already in your wardrobe to mending techniques and upcycling from old pieces, there is something for everyone to try.

But my book is not just about projects. It also delves into how to shop more sustainably and why it is so important for us to learn how to fix our clothes, shop consciously, and upcycle so that all of our unwanted clothes don't just go to waste and end up in landfill.

Let's talk about the elephant in the room - fast fashion. The truth is, fast fashion is so problematic at the moment. The constant need to buy the latest trends, the poor working conditions of garment workers, and the environmental impact of producing and disposing of clothes at such a rapid pace - it's all just too much.

But fear not, my friends! By learning how to upcycle and shop more sustainably, we can make a difference. So grab a copy of my book, get those creative juices flowing, and let's make the world a better place - one upcycled piece at a time.

To celebrate, I’ve just put up a handfull of signed copies available to pre-order now!!

Happy upcycling, everyone!
